I went to a Red Cross blood donation event that we had in my last workplace, but after they asked all of my medical history they weren't sure if it would be a good idea to take my blood. They took my contact information and said they would contact me later if I'm eligible for donating, but I never head from them since. Guess I'm no good.
If you have time, look into making another appointment. Your contact details may have just been misplaced.

Fivepoint's argument is akin to complaining that the slaves weren't paying their fair share of the taxes, and the plantation owners were paying far too much.
The top earners have almost all of the wealth in this country, they should be paying almost all of the taxes. If they were paying too much, wouldn't the wealth disparity be shrinking?
I wasn't arguing anything... simply pointing out the fallacy of his point. He stated they weren't paying their 'fair share' so I pointed out why he was wrong. That's all. BTW, what is with people like you who think they need to relate everything to slavery, the holocaust, or racism? :o

I think the sensitivity of the swipe gestures should be a little more sensitive. It works at first, then the next time I try to do it on the same Tweet it opens it instead of showing the extra stuff.

I still use a Verizon dumbphone. I see no real reason to switch to iphone, simply because I have little interest in the device (plus, I can't afford a data plan right now, which is required when you buy a Verizon smartphone)
Verizon requires a $30 month data plan....AT&T offers one for $15 if you don't use a lot of data. That'll save you $360 over the 2 year contract.

But see you are not leaving AT&T now, you are leaving T-Mobile.
There are a number of att customers who find the service mediocre at best, but are willing to put up with it, verizon may be better. Still others didn't know att would be that bad but where stuck into contracts, and it worked well enough to justify waiting and not paying the termination fee. Furthermore, there are plenty of people who have no problems with att, but media hype and aggressive advertising has convinced them they do have a problem, so they will switch. I'm sticking with ATT, it has worked great for years and years for me.

Some film negatives, apple style.
I'd be more positive toward your negatives if there was a bucket of popcorn included. :)

First let me say while this is a new account, I am not new to Macrumors. I've been coming here for a while, it's just now that I am making an account.
Ok, some of you might be aware of Mountain Dew/Pepsi's promo, every10minutes where you can win an Xbox 360. If any of you drink this regularly, instead of simply throwing away the caps, I'm asking you to email them to mikeL30@gmail.com
I know it sounds like a lot and sorta cheap, but I'd really appreciate it and if I could give something in return, I would

Resizable textarea's have been implemented in WebKit nightlies for a few months now but were turned off by default at some point.
For this to be included in a front page news item when its been publicly available for months is ludicrous.

Where's the typical signature? Seems a bit fishy to me (since emails like this are easily faked, and have been many times).
I don't really doubt the facts here, though, just that this email is real.

If Apple thinks they can do it better, all the more power to them.
That's been their entire motivation all along. If they decide it's something they want to do, there's no reason not to support it.

I wonder if the Shuffle will ever have more than 2 gigabytes. It's form factor seems to limit it, not because there'll never 2 gigabyte storage that small (there will), but because you can't select songs. I wonder how useful a 10 gig Shuffle would be. (Maybe it would be useful...
I bet the next revision of the shuffle will be 2GB - and will remain the same form factor (if this proves popular). There currently are FLASH chips in 2GB capacity that would fit right into the new shuffle. The catch is the price... Market value on smaller 2GB chips is about 5X the price of 1GB chips right now. In other words, Apple could release a 2GB version of the G2 Shuffle, it would just cost about another $100 and there probably isn't sufficeint production yield of 2GB chips yet. But in it's new/current form, the small size and ~240 song capacity for about $80 makes it a real winner.

I'm not gay, but I take offense to the idea of equating homosexual activity with "sleeping with hookers, and intravenous drug users". Just because someone is gay doesn't mean they sleep around, just like someone who is straight doesn't just sleep around. This is something that you should probably reflect on, in that gay people can be just as likely or not to sleep around and behave in risky ways as straight people can.
I don't think the person you are responding to was equating homosexuality with anything. If you've ever given blood, which I have many times, you would know that you have to fill out a form every time which asks you questions based on relatively high-risk behaviors, including sex-for-money, intravenous drug use, and male-to-male sex. That doesn't make them equated and I see nothing in Socratic's post that would imply s/he felt they were.

We will we be getting the full Adobe experience with this, such as having to re-install the OS each time an upgrade or patch is released?
