I'm drooling over some of the Corrado pics that were posted. I've always loved those cars. I believe to this day they still look modern.

But see you are not leaving AT&T now, you are leaving T-Mobile.
There are a number of att customers who find the service mediocre at best, but are willing to put up with it, verizon may be better. Still others didn't know att would be that bad but where stuck into contracts, and it worked well enough to justify waiting and not paying the termination fee. Furthermore, there are plenty of people who have no problems with att, but media hype and aggressive advertising has convinced them they do have a problem, so they will switch. I'm sticking with ATT, it has worked great for years and years for me.

That's true: soda/chips not loss leaders but maintained by rack jobbers.
You could be right. I had heard from a guy who worked for a Coke distributor that there wasn't much margin on pop so when it's on sale, it's at a loss for the grocer. I drink a lot of Diet Coke so I thought he could get me a deal on a pallet, lol.
BTW- My grocery store has had Diet Coke 12 packs on sale for $1.79 with a $25 purchase so the price controls for grocers can't be THAT strict :)

That's a lot of rack space! Considering the high density NL series is probably the type of node being spec'ed, that's at least a good 10 racks completely filled with equipment. That's excluding network gear.

Yeah, but that sounds like a Microsoft solution.

That's nice, but I'm still waiting for more storage.
To clarify, I have .Mac and love the features, I just think for $100/yr, Apple is being a little chintzy with storage (after all, Google offers 2 GB for free and AOL offers unlimited space for free).
I dropped .mac two years ago because it was completely unreliable. Apple has decided to focus on eye candy rather than improving the service. I'm amazed that they can't do both.
I now use roundecube installed at dreamhost and I'm very happy. For the same price as .mac, I get 20gb of storage, unlimited domain hosting, a yearly free renewal of my domain name, 675 email addresses etc etc...and while it's not as integrated as .mac, it gives me much much more useful features. Above all, except for a week of iffy service, it's been rock solid.
For those who want something really nice looking, check out roundcube webmail

How can you pre-order if the 2GB shuffle is not even on Apple's website?
Hey, the first time saw 5G iPod, I thought, why are they talking about a 5 gig iPods, when the current iPod is 30 and 60 gigs...
We all make that mistake when we first see that terminology...
Tell me you didn't...

As I glance thru these comments ... it sure would be refreshing if the negative posters would just go away. They offer nothing and it is truly a waste of time to even glance at them. Why not offer something that is useful and others can learn from. For those of you that do bring to light informative insights ... thank you.

I believe last year it showed up around 8:45pm eastern time. So basicly 5 hours after the keynote ends. Maybe we can hope it'll be up a little sooner this time?

FACT: Apple doesn't access the database cache, emails, passwords, photos on your phone either.
...I agree, but it's always good to keep corporations honest. Google, on the other hand, does try and get you to use their webmail precisely so that they can access it.

 you've got to be joking right now. it's not supposed to be cushy, it's supposed to be horrible ...
I thought we'd left the idea of horrible back in the dark ages.
At least some of us have.
I saw the Swedish "Millennium series" films a few months back a couldn't help notice that when the protagonist was (wrongly) sent to prison, it looked more like a college dormitory than anything you'll see here in America.
likemyorbs would be horrified to see prisoners treated so humanely.

So I got my Photoshop on Mac last year and somehow, I think I accidentally pressed something. I used to have a transparent background whenever I use it so I can see the desktop but now it's all gray and boring. How do I turn it back? I have the Translucent option checked btw. Thanks for any help that will come.
