So far, by changing GoDaddy's DNS info to point to our dyndns host, I can get our GoDaddy domain to point to the server.... but it loads the church's website! I have set up a new Web Site in Server Admin with the Web Folder pointing to the output of iWeb (just as the church's website is set up).
Can you post what your website setup looks like in Server Admin? (See attached)
If you can enter childrenscenter.org in your browser and get the church website, then your DNS setup seems to be working okay but your web server setup isn't

I just did this yesterday. Tired of Lion messing up. I get the beta thing, just don't want to deal.
I have a 1TB drive so I just re-partitioned the drive while running and then installed SL into new, clean partition. Did the complete restore/install from the original disks that came with MBP.
Next, I did the Software Update thing then ran migration assistant making sure to NOT move Machine and Applications.
Restarted and then drag copied over the apps I wanted, settings that were missed and did new installs of everything else.
All told about a day (10-12 hours) and I am now SL and Lion on one drive in my MBP.
Worth it to do a clean install and not carry anything back. Move them later.

I got the LaCie Porsche design 16x dual layer burner (couldn't get the regular LaCie over here and it was cheaper...) and it works really well!

Congrats, i paid $40 for mine but have brought home at least 10 for free :D
I recently brought 4 home and stripped them then sent them off again :o
But i could not bring myself to throw the purple one out, it is too cool.
P.S. i just realized i didn't strip them of the CD drives
So you get them, strip them of the parts and sell them again?

I'm not going to place my order quite yet though - try and talk me out of it! Haha.
You might want to consider this (http://macperformanceguide.com/Reviews-SSD-Crucial256.html#PerformanceSummary):
Read and write speed is awesomely fast. But there is a hitch: the speed out of the box is a fairy tale that does not hold up with sustained use, although the ongoing speed is still superb.
The speed is actually understated when the drive is first used; fresh out of the box, the Crucial 256GB achieves a blistering-fast 215MB/sec write speed, and 267MB/sec read speed on the DiskTester fill-volume test. Those are fantastic numbers! (The fastest laptop hard drives might sustain 98MB/sec on the fastest part of the drive).
On the second and subsequent fill-volume tests, write speed declines by 17% over the initial results, settling down to a still superb 187MB/sec, about 6% below the rated speed. Furthermore, it develops a periodic stutter, which can be seen in the blue line in the graph. Read speeds drop only a smidgen, remaining above 260MB/sec.

The larger one was my original vision. It didn't look so great @ 75x75px so I just put 10^7 instead.
Also, I'm going to change up the colors, nothing is final.

Hi with all the wonderful help in this forum I have just jailbroken my iPhone 4. Now I am trying to do the same for my iPad. Since iPad doesn't have baseband, should I just restore to 4.2.1 directly from iTunes or I should still download the firmware somewhere and start TSS server of TinyUmbrella while restoring to 4.2.1? Thank you very much for all the help. :)

Not sure how you saw a 12" Powerbook over a decade ago since they didn't come out until 2003 ;)
But seriously, they will hold 1.12GB of RAM in the original 867MHz models, and all the ones after than will do 1.25GB of RAM. For a short time you actually could get CPU upgrades through a company that you would mail the PowerBook to and they would upgrade it to 1.67GHz or something like that. I've owned both a 867MHz model and currently a 1.5GHz one. Go for no less than a 1.33. They have faster RAM, much better graphics chips, and more HD space by default. My 1.5GHz is wonderful in Leopard with the maximum RAM installed and its 64MB GeForce Go5200 graphics card. Probably wouldn't hurt to find a newer & faster HD, but for a secondary computer, 60GB is plenty for me.

I have a Mx 1000 too, and as everyone else has said, it is the best mouse I have ever used. It glides effortlessly on my desk and is very accurate and smooth. At first, it sees a little big and heavy, but you get used to it because it is very comfortable. According to logitech's site, the battery lasts 21 days. I haven't timed it, but that is about how long it lasts for me. Amazon had the cheapest price when I ordered it. Check there. It is a bit expensive, but it's worth every penny.

wow I am surprise to see this.
Thanks for all the help. I downloaded the iStat program and found that the highest temp is around 40 to 50 degree C. I thought that's not normal and worry that it will hurt the inside components.
I will try to put my macbook with more load and see if the temp goes up even higher. I am surprise macbook has such high temp as I never experienced this type of heat when using other brands of laptop! :(
40-50C is nothing, honestly.
Most likely you never bothered to measure the temps of your other laptops. You'd be surprised...
You now have a GPU/CPU combo in one die, as well as turbo automatically over clocking cores as well. Both will tend to yield higher temps.

I have the 2011 i7 quad core 2.2ghz 15" macbook pro and I believe I have the crap job of the thermal paste applied inside the cpu unit. Being unaware how macs work internally I don't want to mess up anything in my laptop. I just purchased this last month and was wondering does the Apple Genius Bar reapply thermal paste for you if you ask for it? or will I have to try and take this elsewhere.

Hey Arn, have another question.
I have cookies enabled both at work and at home, and today. after already posted couple of times I needed to log back in. I thought that that freaking peecee was well... freaking.
But when I got home my trusted mac also requested to log in again.
Why was that? Did you reset something? Cleared out a couple non-active-users or so?

Very good point on the friend of marriage thing. Britney Spears is pretty clearly a very big friend of marriage.
When the number gets that large, I believe you would call her a hooker??

24" iMac and 13" MBA. I only need documents to be synced so that works easily with DropBox (I would do that even if I had only one computer). Of course, if you work with video or other big files, then DropBox is a no-go and file syncing in general may be a pain in your ass.
I really like having two computers. Sure it has its pros and cons but for me, the pros outweigh the cons. If I had only one computer, it would most likely be 15" MBP. By the time I bought my iMac, it wasn't as powerful as the iMac and it is nowhere near as portable as MBA.

I love Katie Melua and her new album!

Piece by Piece is the second album from this Georgia-born singer. If you've never heard her music, you should definitely give her a listen. Her voice is so hauntingly beautiful and immaculate. I get goosebumps listening to her sing. Anyway, I just love her, so this avatar is dedicated for her.
I've combined my two great loves, Katie Melua and Apple, and it's a play on words... literally!

is TPE that rubber found around bumper cases?
it's probably similar. I know it's similar to TPU but i don't really know the difference between them two.
