Hi Vikramy - Do you know of any particular reasons for these transfer denials? Also what could have been the reason in your case? Please explain if you have examples for the company starting with cognXXXXX, I just put my transfer papers in to join them.... :confused:

I went to Kanha and Bandhavgarh National parks, the last two times I had been to India. The december season is not the best one for tiger viewing, however; if you give it 2-3 days, you will see some activity.
I will recommend Bandhavgarh. Although not as accessible as Kanha, the forest has best tiger density of all Indian parks and hence improves your chance of sighting. The forest area is much smaller than Kanha, so you will see less of other wildlife, there are no bisons or barasinghas in Bandhavgarh, but you will definitely see tigers. Took 4 game drives, sighted twice, once two tigers were fighting ferociously. Captured it all like on Animal planet.
Kanha: Is a much bigger& beautiful forest, is more easily accessible. I took 3 game drives in 2008, no sightings. You have better chance of sighting other animals such as sloth bears, nilgai, bisons here. Spotting a tiger can be and in any forest will be a matter of chance. All of my 7 game drives were a thrill & most memorable experiences. You can take a flight to Jabalpur from Delhi and either forest is a 6 hr drive from there. Watching a tiger in the wild and the thrill to seek it was one of the most memorable moments of my life.
Or you can go to Kajuraho from Delhi by flight and Bandhavgargh is a 6 hr drive.

I just read the FAQ#3 and A33 says that I-485 �7/30/07 Y� should be used but my attorney used "07/24/06 Y" to file my I-485. Very worried now... any comments... what are chances that my apllication would be rejected?
Q33: When filing an EB I-485 using the old fee, what version of the I-485 form do we use?
A33: The current I-485 form version dated �7/30/07 Y� should be used.

I would think so. Better to wait for a couple of weeks and apply for your EAD along with the 485 receipt.

In NYC (if it's closer for you) consulate you get the renewed/New Passport back on same day. I renewed my Kids passports there got back on same day.
For myself, I renewed in SFO back in 2001 and got them back in 5-7 days.

So u are saying if she uses her EAD/ AP then my H1b is no longer valid? BTW she got her h1b visa in the lottery earlier this year.
Spouse using EAD, has no affect on your H1.

Yes, Labor substitutions had stopped from Aug 2007 onwards. I mean those were allowed till July 2007 and before. Since I substituted before Aug2007 so that has been acepted by USCIS and processed my case.

My employer is saying I should not accept the employment offer from client. If I ignore my employer and accepts the offer from my client, I am going to be in trouble?

Thanks Guys.This was what me and my attorney were thinking.The reason why the officer asks my advanced degree is misleading inspite of the fact that my labor (as well as advt)was for bachelors +5 years experience and didnt mention anything about advanced degree.
To answer your question ,yes i had about 7.5 years experience (about 6.5 at Indian Branch office and others else where) before joining current company in US.
Attorney has mentioned we will argue my bachelors degree + 5 years experience is equivalent.
BTB is it mandatory to have Masters in Labour? Wont bachelors+5 years experience be enough?

I recently found a project (after many months) and am working for this new employer on EAD. However, I have not vacated my old apt....still paying rent and keeping it as my current one, and sharing accommodation with others in the new city where I am working....because of the only reason that I fear, which is an RFE.
Please let me know.
