I don't think that your footer uses up a lot either. It doesn't bog down my system nearly as much as some of the multiple movie clip effects that some use. I think that's because a) it's not very big. B) it's only one transparency which is actuall on top of another image (the one on the bottem of the layer stack is not moving over another image), and C) The top one is fogged.. (which may or may not actually make a difference. )

#1 - If a suitable USC, LPR responds your PERM advert then you can not move forward with PERM labor processing. When the job market is good, number of people responding to the advert will low, so it increases the chances for you.
On the other hand, chances are that a large number of applicants might not have the exact skillset mentioned in your advertisement as the current market has driven some desperate candidates to apply even if the requirement matches only 10% of their profile. So, it depends on your luck. The general assumption is that, people look to better their salaries, roles when the economy is doing good. I had same experience with H1B 8 months back.I had to leave the country due to H1B Xtension denial and MTR denial.As my I140 got approved the day i landed, my employer got 3 years H1B approved and i came in with that again. Now again I140 getting "Intent to revoke". Track record of employer with USCIS is not good. That is why I am worried and looking for other options on worst case. Can you let me know about the 3 questions I asked above in my original question.

did you get a letter from USCIS to your new address that they have received your address change request?
i changed my address back in last week of September and got the letter in mid october. i got two separte letter one addressed to me and one addressed to my wife. this letter will ensure that they have your new correct address on the file. you should get one letter for you and for each dependent. also, you should change addresses for each individuals (for you and dependent).
also keep in touch with your lawyer, they shall recieve one notice for FP alongwith you.
I called USCIS and created a new service request. Hope they will do it right this time.
My worry is if this is NOT FP notice, and something else, will it effect my application in anyway since I could not respond in a timely manner due to address change.

I got all the receipts and FP notice from VSC on 10/15. Everything was filed on 7/31 and sent to TSC. FP date was 10/30. Got EAD last week and they want ID again for AP. 485 has been trasnferred to TSC now.

Yes. As long as your PD was current in some point of time you can file WOM. Be sure to include Department of State as a defendant so it could be ordered to release a visa number for you.

Employment based GC is based on intent to work for sponsoring employer or similar profession. For most of us, who are retrogressed, we would have worked with sponsoring employer already for 4 to 5 years. the main issue here is whether sufficient intent existed at the time of filing 140 and 485. after having been in 485 filed status for long, it is natural for intent to change.
so, i do not see why full time MBA with 485 pending is an issue. the laws are quite unclear, for sure.
My understanding from my lawyer is that a person's intent while filing GC should be that he will work in that position "indefinitely". So, if intent changes before the application is approved, then one might argue that the application itself should be withdrawn or is invalid.
The regulations do seem clear on what kind of work one must take up immediately after GC is approved. But, how it is enforced and the consequences of not abiding by it are open to debate. It depends on the person's risk tolerance profile to act as he chooses...who knows what will happen 5+ years from now...

I don't have a suggestion but a question for you. What is this money that you get if you stick with the company after they lay you off. Why would you lose the money if you join company B? I am sorry I just thought it was kind of strange.
I guess he is talking about severance pay, could range from 1 month to 2 years of salary depending on duration of employment with company and there policies.

My wife will be coming back in April 2nd week through Denver. CO POE. Her AP is valid until June 3rd week.
My question is that is 2 months of AP validity / cushion enough or safe to enter the US.
Any experiences from forum members about using their AP when there is 2 months or less left in the expiry of the AP document and they entered the US. Did anyone have any bad experience at POE due to near expiry of the AP. Members entered through Denver, CO POE with their experiences would be an added help.

On MM DD, YYYY, we received this application and mailed you a document describing how we process it. But you do not need to bother. Our system is so screwed up that we did not know how many cases we had pending. We did not communicate with DOL and DOS properly; so we ended up causing the July Visa Bulletin fiasco, which actually screws up your case even more if you were not one of the lucky applicants to have actually obtained your GC. But your increased fees for EAD & AP renewals have afforded us new janitors, so we will try to keep your files dust free.
P.S : If you are an advanced degree holder born in India. Hahahaha.

I e-filed,got my EAD in 2 months,AP in 5 months
My wife efiled,got EAD and AP in 5 months.
We went for FP for sure!
So it can be a long process even when you efile.

Not a word said about this I485 fiasco on the two mostly watched networks (CNN, ABC). Why can't we try to get their attention in this matter. Please suggest ways of getting this published in the above networks.
I sent emails to CNN, ABC. NBC, FOX and know of atleast 2 more people who have done so. They are busy covering what Paris did in jail and why bush let libby out ..
