Guys, I seen many people who became devotee of Sathya Sai Baba to get instant gratification such fast money, success etc. But when they realized that Just by being his devotes, they can't just wipe out their past Karma and get instant results so they were angry and started evil saying and comment against Baba. Unless you really follow his teachings and discipline and understand what he has done to India and all mankind, it is ignorance to judge him, he is beyond our limited thinking of instant gratifications and thinking of selfishness.

Before i present my RFE I will explaing My GC:
I did masters and worked on OPT for sometime with Company A and they applied H1B,
still working for Company A as H1B as Senoir Programmer ANalyst.
At one point CompanyB filed GC process and I-140 approved as a IT Manager in EB2
PD=jan 2006
Still working with H1B from COmpany A
I never worked for Company B and it no longer exists...
Company A recently merged with ANother Company X
I recently got an RFE How do i respond PLease help me:

Any additional documentation which confirms your employment history.
You must submit a currcntly dated letter from your intended permanent employer dcseribing your present job
duties and position in the organization, your proffered position, if different from your current position, the date
you began employment and the offered salary or wage. This letter must be in the original and signed by an
executive or officer of the organization who is authorized to make or confirm an offer of permanent
employment. The letter must also indicate whether the terms and conditions of your employment-based visa
petition or labor certification continue to exist.
If you have changed employers since filing your application for adjustment of status, please submit a statement
which lists the names and locations of all employers you have had in the US and the beginning and end dates of
each position unless these have been included on Form G-325A.

This is NOT labor substitution - but another proposed rule that would invalidate any labor certs taht were not followed up with a I-140 within 45 days.
Can we also port the PD if second I-140 is already approved, and file I-485 while using old PD?
this rule is part of the labor substitutuion elimination rule which limits lc to 45 days life.

Recently, I made my own PP photos using http://www.epassportphoto.com/
This is a great service - It creates a jpeg file from a picture that you upload, and you can choose the "free" option in which you can save the jpeg file with 4-6 pictures in one frame (A 4" x 6" photo can yield 6 pp photos of 2" x 2"), and take it to Walgreens/Costco/Kinkos for a printout for $0.25 each. Otherwise you pay about $8-$12 for 2 photos at the same stores!!
For a family of 4, this equates to savings of ~ $40!!!
The site has all the tools for meeting various types of visa/pp/etc photo requirements for various countries.

We're in a unique situation. My wife and I married in India and didn't register our marriage; we're now citizens of country X. To get our marriage (and birth) certificate, we went to the local Indian consulate, which provides these services. But we were told that, since we're no longer Indian citizens, we should go to X's consulate. Is there a way we can get the certificates? How about registering our marriage in the US?
For BC, our parents sent us the affidavits and we were thinking to get a certificate of BC's non-availability through mymanindia.com. Is there a quicker solution?

Thanks for the reply. Here's why it becomes more complicated. I asked my attorney about starting a new EB2 process (I have a MS from US). However, the attorney says he doesn't recommend starting a new PERM process as he strongly believes that this will affect the current EB3 I-140 application. He feels that USCIS will look at the ongoing EB3 application and deem it unnecessary to approve it (as I would have applied for a different position for EB2). Hence I might lose my PD !!
He suggests that I wait till my EB I-140 is approved. But that might take another year considering the slow NSC processing times!!
Any suggestions?

I recently booked visa appointment at Chennai.
1. Use IE. I had issues with firefox
2. You will be allowed to pick the appointment date at the very end. In fact that is the last step of the online visa appointment booking process.

Maybe. But parallel filing itself has been dysfunctional ever since retrogression hit. Talk of replacing one dysfunctional system with another.
Correct me if I am wrong.
They started premium processing for I140 so that they could stop parallel filing of 140 and 485.

Going back home is the only backup streategy. Probably everybody who is not contributing to IV, is depending on this backup plan.

Good Attorney -Even DOL has to be sued for delaying labor approvals and backlog.Thats one of the reason for this huge retrogression.

I had a similar problem when I applied for my OPT, not once but twice. The one year EAD had a wrong date, the issue date and expiry date was the same. The second time, they didn't give me the correct start date, so I sent it again. No filing fees since it was their mistake.

Folks,
We need to understand that we have chosen a tough but worthy effort in the form of this forum. As such it may be depressing to see the slow movement in DC.
We should not be setting ourselves some timelines like the ones stated in this email thread, and then feel depressed about seeing no positive results within that timeline...there are too many factors outside our control to do anything like that...
I think we are better off than we where we were last year, when the awareness was nil, and that backlog legislation only favored the RNs and the PTs, while we saw ourselves powerless...
Lets help the core team..and not get depressed over short timelines...I see light at the end of our efforts...may not be phenomenal..but I am sure it will make a difference...for each of us...
