Again, he should have called the police. What should she be charged with? Is she or is she not the victim of attempted murder?
Let me bold the part of my post that answers your question :
Both should be thrown in jail and left to rot. Unfortunately there's no law against stupid so only the guy will get his day in court.
Why ask me something I've already answered ? Want to argue around in circles ? I find she's a victim of her own stupidity mostly, if anything.
And please use multi-quote Skunk. Forum rules and all...

Somehow I knew someone would say that. I nearly edited my post when I realized it was incomplete, but I guess I'll put it here:
You need location services for many, many "cool" features of any smartphone. Finding restaurants, gas stations, etc. through countless apps. Not to mention all the social networking crap the kids are doing these days.
Not to mention finding yourself on the map.
Yep... I should never post from my phone. I tend to be too brief.
I believe I cleared up my comment though.

"I think and hope that people are going to understand. There is as price for being an early adopter and your points and feelings are valid (Penello said when referring to gamers IGN suggested would be angry about the new system). But whenever you innovate and change, you have to face this situation. Your same old system is still perfectly valid."
"We could never have done this before, to bring HMDI and 120 GB to the system when we launched in 2005. The reason we didn't do it before was because the HDMI standard wasn't complete. It takes time to develop these things. We started the console earlier than Sony did and when the HDMI standard wasn't done. At the time we were developing, this stuff was in transition."
******* off you couldn't have in HDMI in 2005. MS really irks me with this move. I wanted a god damn HDMI port....
I agree. There was already PLENTY of TVs with HDMI connectors in 2005! THE ORIGINAL HDMI SPEC was back in 2002!!!
Is it just me, or does Microsoft think that us consumers are stupid? Obviously they don't care about the current 360 owners. I can already feel the anger that you guys have...As for me, I'm actually pissed off for you guys. I mean, I've waited all this time to get one, and now I can get an Elite model. But, that means that people who have gotten a 360 a year before...Man... :(
More options to piss of the current customers eh?

Play has started. I am in Canary Wharf on the other side of London. Weather is reasonably good, a lot of light cloud, but quite high and blue patches appearing. Play shoud be uninterupted and, if England get out, Australia should be able to bat till 7pm in a (hopefully unsucessful) attempt to win.
At the moment England seem to be scoring well and most importantly staying in!
Edit: Spoke to soon! Looks like I need to stop posting messages about they staying in!

Well I'm a pro user and i welcome the new FCP and it's price.
I have a decent budget since I work for a corporation.
If I lost my job or decided to go on my own, $299 would make it easier to deal with than a seat with Avid.
Got it in one. I just watched an Indy Mogul episode and in the credits it was produced, presented and edited by the same person. She also interviewed people for a vox pop. End result looked good too. (http://www.indymogul.com/beyondtrailer/episode/BTT_20110415_1/scream-4-movie-review)
At the Supermeet presentation, the guy said "And it's only $299, which means you don't have to decide who gets a copy" (or words to that effect). THe last bit was drowned out by the crowd, but he meant that you no longer have to give everyone FCP/Motion/Color/STP/Cinema Tools if all they need is FCP.

You are not comparing like with like. The comparable model to a Mac Pro is the Dell Precision T5500 and specced up the Dell is about $1,000 more than the Mac Pro. :p
If you actually read the earlier posts, you would know that this is false. T5500 is a dual socket machine using Xeon 5000-series CPU and that is comparable to 8-core and 12-core Mac Pro, not SP Mac Pro. T3500 is a single socket system which uses the exactly same Xeon 3000-series CPUs as the SP Mac Pro.
EDIT: Damn you guys are quick today :p

Pietersen had to prove his worth! He's hardly been the best player of the series but when they really needed him, he came good! Had he got out, this could have been a very different result!

...Oddly enough a station in San Fransico was asking for mainly iMovie users with Final Cut knowledge too, though they really were looking for iMovie, which I think is odd, this is CBS too, not some tiny station...maybe all they want is someone to do basic A/B edits. Ive worked at local tv station here and they were the same. Sinple ENG edits no more than two tracks but that was over 12 years ago when Avid had only two tracks.

I realized last night after one of my earlier posts that the real limitation when viewing recorded video on 3G is that the upload speed on my wired internet connection at home is very slow, I think only about 350Kbps, versus 10Mbps on download. Thus, the upload speed is the real problem, not some issue with 3G or EyeTV.

It's working great for me locally. Over WAN I cannot say: NO ports seem to be working (even ones I used last week for VNC) which is not EyeTV's fault. I think it's an issue with AT&T DSL. I hope they haven't started blocking something intentionally. I'll try again tomorrow in the hopes that it's fixed. (I can't even traceroute to my home.)
Yep--must have been an AT&T issue of some kind. All my ports are working again today, and I can confirm that EyeTV + no-ip.com works for TV-watching over WAN :) Too cool. One more reason to love my EyeTV. And my rabbit ears!
EDIT: I just HAD to open my yap... It doesn't work anymore (not even on LAN). Unable to connect. Nothing has changed since earlier when it was fine. Will try again tomorrow.
EDIT2: It came back when I downloaded a newer build--link near the end of this page: http://support.elgato.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=3651&nav=0,1,388&languageid=1&group=englishdefault
(Also check your OS X Firewall for EyeTV stuff set to Block. I had it set to Allow and yet it once went to Block on its own somehow.)

I’ve heard the same thing when touch screens came out. "OMG! Don’t take away my keyboard! Waah! Waah!"
Just because you have a narrow mind and can’t see past shooting aliens over and over again while mashing buttons, doesn’t mean that what you do defines gaming!
I feel sorry for those who think that the way you play a game is supposed to be like so "pure" and "traditional". Get a life, man...it's video entertainment. It's a toy.

For those who are interested in some of the advantages of magnesium, try this (http://www.meridian-mag.com/magnesium/) page. It's in reference to auto parts, but contains interesting general info.
Yes, magnesium is very flammable, but really only in finely powdered form.
What you people are failing to realize is that Aluminum in a finely powdered form is highly flammable too. In fact, it's the primary ingredient for solid rocket boosters.
