Will it support playing graphic intensive Windows games? That's the only think Parallels doesn't do for me. Also, is there any indication of a price?
Competition is always good, but they're going to have their work cut out for them to get me to switch away from Parallels.

I have owned all 4 Iphones and though this white iphone looks awesome it is nothing new... where is the Iphone 5? or Iphone 4gs? no one really cares about the new color... Iphone fans want the new and improved phone! now i agree the iphone 4 is still way up there on the totem pole but still just like the Iphone 3g the Iphone 3gs brought few but much wanted additions to a phone. i think a Iphone 4gs is a must if not then build the iphone 5 but dont leave us dry with the same phone with a different color. i do belive that should of been done like a year ago when you first released the iphone 4. I highly doubt apple will recieve a hug growth in sales with this.... :mad:

Probably early prototype of iPhone 6. They started work on it in January. iPhone 5 is pretty much a done deal by now I'm sure.

Because it uses mDP for the connection. It would be confusing to users to have a data only port that looks like their video port (of course this really only affect Macs since most PC's come with DVI/HDMI...)

Well, I suppose recognizing the label to differentiate between the mini-DisplayPort and ThunderBolt ports would be a good step (a lot of people often mis-guess the USB connection). I realize it's a in a format similar to the mini-DisplayPort, however could this change? Either way, if that's their excuse it seems fairly thin.

Me too. I didn't realize it has been 5 years since I bought my last pair of blue jeans. I only have 2 pairs of blue jeans, and 1 pair of dark greys. I don't wear jeans all the time like some people do, so I never think of replacing at least one of those. One pair definitely doesn't fit anymore, while I love the other pair (but they fit rather "meh").

Well, I just had to wipe my hands to type this after eating my nachos, so i wouldn't mind not touching it, so I could still be eating....that being said..this is too weird...A bar rumor. I was out last weekend and a friend told me about a friend of his with an Apple powerbook prototype that he is testing that uses exactly that. It's a three dementional, no touching, control. I guess it works with sensors behind the screen and in between the keys on the keyboard. You can write in the air, move items, etc. I wish I can say it was first hand that I saw this, so you have to take it as it is...only a rumor...BUT it does fit into this thread.

Boot Camp is not virtualization, by any definition. (And no, there's no way Microsoft or anyone else could argue that it is.)
What if Microsoft claims that the Mac firmware (which is software on a chip) is EFI and Apple is emulating BIOS and thus Windows is running in an emulated environment.

It will suck like all Microsoft products except for the MS Mouse that is good.
MS Natural Keyboard is also good.

Apple mouse is beautiful and using one is not very stressful for your hand. Scroll ball in the Mighty Mouse is the best I've used and there's no comparison.
The only bad Apple mice were the hockey pucks.

From my own experience the PS3 and the Nintendo DSi all read iTunes purchased music, albeit with some metadata weirdness.Metadata weirdness is what I have encountered trying to use files that I have in iTunes. It does not occur when importing into iTunes though, only exporting elsewhere.
I know that I have plenty of .songname files in my folders as well. Why iTunes, why?

Well, at least with the new iChat features people MIGHT actually start using iChat instead of Adium. Maybe?
Oh yeah, forgot about iChat. :p The remote desktops feature is neat. But I'm guessing that it'll only work Mac-to-Mac? Can still put it to good use, but still - for going 10.4 to 10.5, I feel as if Leopard has its uses but is underwhelming in the end.

I haven't tried windows but from reading posts elsewhere it seems to be a problem in windows as well. As with most things electronic it is likely only a few who have trouble. I'm just better at bad luck than most people are.

If you only have 4 cores and I have 8 that isn't very much of a difference even taking into account the mhz discrepency. It might be worth trying to see if my 920 would be ok at stock speed with bigadv units.

right now its reformatting into a RAID, boss wanted to RAID it. lost 2 frames no biggie. here's what i got before that
[22:05:44] pleted 2500 out of 250000 steps (1%)
[22:54:37] Completed 5000 out of 250000 steps (2%)
so thats about 50 mins per frame. i was thinking maybe that was due to the clock speed being 2.26 or the HT. the old 3ghz MP does a frame in the low to mid 40s
