W"oaaa thats a col idea man -- the UI is a bit hard to use - especially for clients with no design app experience-- maybe u need to lead people thru the coices-- eg first choose a page layout, pick one of these.. now ...... something like that ..
but wow nice little app, a lot of work I am sure, Looking forward to seeing the finished product. ( its very processor hungry? - hard to use sometimes because of this)

Thanks for the review. I did create a small flash movie to use as instructions on how to use it. I would have added it to my upload but it ended up to large to do so. The processor problem is easily over come by taking out the color component and just do a 10 color selector but it will limit the selectivity of it all.

This is my status.
I 140 � Approved in 2006 and have a copy.
I 485 � Filed in Jul 2007, Receipt date Jul 02, 2007. Have copy of I 485 receipt.
Perm Labor � Have perm labor approval copy.
Since it has been more than 180 days I 485 is pending and I 140 also approved, I joined my client. Now my old employer says he will withdraw my I 140.
I would like to send AC21 job change info to USCIS my self.
Please let me know if any one is in the same situation and filed (informed) AC21 by yourself.
And also advice if anyone used new attorney only for AC21.

Bad..In that case, how can you be sure that they have filed your I140? Not sure if USCIS can provide receipt number based on your name and DOB but you may try calling them.
The Problem is my employer is not sharing this information with me.I want to make decision of moving the employer only if i know that my 140 is approved. My fear is that my employer may tell me that 140 is still pending even if it is approved.

1a) Both translated and original are needed and might be sufficient. As of my knowledge, they are issuing them in local language and English currently in my native place.
1b) DOB Cert by itself from the Consul's office will not be sufficient.
1c) Every 485 applicant needs DOB certificate. So your wife does.
3a) It depends on a variety of things like if you had chicken pox before or not. If you had been to school in US and have any immunization record / some sort of health record you submitted to them when you came in, the doctor might accept it. AFAIK, It is a 1 hr process how ever appointments might be 2 weeks away :)
3b) Tests are valid for one year.

Does the I-9 need to be refreshed each year?
I have a copy of my Jan 2009 I-94 which is not the most recent one - I believe that was the one that was sent to my employer's lawyers. In Jan 2010, I did get an original I-94 (the one I lost) but did not use it to apply for I-9 (atleast to the best of my knowledge).
Thanks for being so responsive and helping me out. The other thing is the time constraint that I have to take off on Dec 29th (tomorrow). What also worries me is that if I approach the Immigration/customs folks at the nearby airport, won't they basically ask me to fill an I-102 and wait for 3-6 months before I can travel? I don't want to do that since I need to travel now due to family issues.

The I102 process is long and not worth it, try talking to the local customs and immigration folks I know it may sound scary but most likely if they cannot issue you a replacement one they won't prevent you from travelling. As long as they are able to create a departure record for you for the 29th that should be ok, normally that is what happens with the I94, the airline staff submits it to these folks who would scan and enter in the system. To make things easy the best way is if you can get the I94# in anyway or you can just choose to travel nothing should stop you, but its always good to be honest and report things to the concerned agencies. All the best and good luck.

Thanks for your reply. Since I won't be working for Company A, so I have to tell them the situation. If Company A is willing to keep my H1B with them active, until Company B gets my H1B approved, you think that will be OK for me?
I am not sure, I can use a H1B transfer, from Company A to Company B, since I never work for Company A, so I do not have a pay check from Company A. Would this be an obstacle for me to transfer my H1B from Company A to B?

You can have multiple H1B. If I were you, I wouldnt tell anything to the company A at this juncture.

Don't worry Matt_Peru, if you have a fedex confirmation that USCIS has received it then you are good to go. USCIS these days is pushing the H-1b transfer/extension petitions to its extreme. Be prepared to expect a reply from USCIS only near to the 14th/15th day deadline for your petition. It'll take them approximately 2 weeks just to acknowledge your petition, and then your 15 day premium processing timeline will begin. Further, they might issue you a RFE on the 14th day after that. When you reply to the RFE petition, they'll give you a decision only after 14 days or so, not before that.
Gone are the days when PP H1b petitions used to be processed accurately in a weeks' time. Now even though you'll send the petition by overnight fedex, its upto USCIS's discretion to acknowledge whenever they'd like, and then the premium processing timeline will start.
I don't mean to discourage you here, but just to let you know of the ground realities as I recently faced with my own PP petition. People using regular processing are even more poorer with the total processing timeframe(including RFE) nearing about 4-5 months. In your case, if you were to get an RFE it'll be 3 months or so, if you don't it'll be about a month or so.

This year has seen like a 100 letters go back and forth between the house and senate on High skilled immigration , and we are where we were . The only outcome that the senators have had is they have improved their letter writing skills :D, and the only advantage nancy pelosi has had is that she is now the proud owner of a file which by now is 100 letters thick all pleading her to reform the immigration process and how prodly she can proclaim that she has done NOTHING to improve our plight . :D
