We are not going there personally...and we are not packing..we are using vendor company to do it. We are not sending bombs or any other stuff which is illegal and crime.

What is the Alien Registration number from I140 approval ? How do we get it if we don't have the copy of I-140 approval?
Any more thoughts on this issue. I am making a list of documents in three categories: (i) docs/info needed absolutely (ii) docs that are not must but might help (iii) docs that are not needed at all. Please edit this list based on your research (if you can add links/cite docs to support that would be great).
With long delays many people will be using AC21 and we might see these question repeatedly - a sticky thread can really help.
(i) Documents or information that is essential (if you don't have these documents or info don't even think about changing jobs and just stay put at old employer)
485 receipt number
Alien Registration number from I140 approval (if its already done)
Employment letter from the new employer with title/function same/similar to labor application
Job functions from approved labor/I140 to get the above

(ii) Documents or information that is not necessary but is good to have (try to get these documents; if you are not able to get them there might be still a way to use AC21 using a lawyer or something)

A) 140 or 485 gets denied and you're on EAD (it means you've already given up your H-1B)
B) 140 gets denied and you're on H-1B (it means you can't use EAD and you can't even stay in this country for 3-4 months without a job on H-1B and still maintain your status)

if someone is on h1 status & have filed 485 in july 07. what happens when due to recession he/she is out of job (NO PAYROLL) for 3-4 months.
will the person have problems during 485 approval?? whats the possible negative that can happen in such god not willing situation

If I change job under AC21 portability, do I need to have originals to be on the safer side, or copies are equally fine?

Visa numbers can retrogress in the middle of a month and become unavailable without prior notice. If there is a mid-month retrogression, USCIS could elect to stop accepting adjustment applications. The icons can all be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v7.0\Icons
You can just drag and drop the icon you want into Blend or explicitly add it via the Projects panel :)
Your question on connecting to an XML data source is interesting because there are several ways of doing this. One approach is by using Linq and just parsing the output.

So you are good to go. This means, when the company applied for your H1, they also applied for your wife's extension using form I-539.
When your wife presents the I-797 in her name, a new I-94 will be given upto 12/25/2009.
There are few cases, where out of ignorance or negligence, they do not apply I-539 while applying for H1, thereby jeopardising h4 status.

Your lawyer does not know what he is talking about. There is no need to do anything. If you were on H1-B and still working at the same company, you are still under H1-B not under EAD no matter how you entered the USA.
You will lose H1B status if and ONLY IF, you use EAD.
AP is only a re-entry permit and has no effect on your immigration status.

Please go back and read my post again. I didn't use the word attorney at all. Please make sure your point is clear before raising a finger on someone. All i am educating him is to file through his employer. In fact i don't personally like attorneys. When i filed my 485 on July 2, i filled the entire application by doing my own research and all my attorney did was signing it. Just to sign it also she said she was busy and she didn't file my EAD/AP.

I think as long as she is pending AOS status, she should be fine. But I don't think H4 will be eligible for FAFSA. But if you filed tax jointly and your income is good then she will not get FAFSA funding, HOWEVER, she will get FAFSA loan (subsidized and unsubsidized). Subsidized loan is loan you don't pay interest until you graduate.
During FAFSA application, you need to submit I-94 and it will verify your status I believe. I have seen people getting FAFSA approval for pending AOS without any problem.
