I got both.
Did everyone get receipt and transfer notice? I ask because I only got Transfer notice, and lawyer is not responding about whether he received a receipt notice(with July 2nd date ) also.

I Applied H1b 8th Year Extension on Jan 9th. Still waiting Anybody has this kind of situation? my Case number Starts with WAC
I Applied my H1b extn on Jan 9th , and i went to India on 18th Jan and came back on 18th Feb using my AP is this could be cause for the delay.
Please share your experiences and ideas

Hello,
Is the Nebraska Service Center fast or is there any other center that is fast. I am filing 140 and 485 together so kindly advice. Also, I would be getting married in 5 months in India and my Wife would come with me after that. Can I include her after she comes here? Is there anything that I would be aware off. Please advice. My wife had a BA (3 years) and BEd (1 year) and after the evaluation, they considered it equivalent to a 4 year US degree with Bachelors degree.
Based on what you said, the lawyer is right, however you can use the EB2 stream using the BS+5 years requirement, rather than the MS requirement.

Granted the employer may not deduct the attorney fees post filing, does that also necessarily mean the employee should not be required to pay up front?

I discussed this to a lawyer. He said that even if I file in August, it will still be accepted since I am qualified to apply in July. This is a bit confusing.
I was thinking of looking for new employer which already has all the paperworks done (10 + 30 days). These are valid until 180 days. I hope to find one so that I can file this July.

My GC was filed by Chugh firm and I did not face any problems so far. I left my GC sponsoring company as well and still continuing with them for AC21 and other issues. In general, you have to carefully verify the data in the application that the firm feel up but that is applicable for any law firm you choose.

You cannot use the experience gained in the current position , so subract that and then do the MS + watever was present before the current position and go for it.
Also check some thread on IV which talks about EB2 rules changed or something with respect to job codes etc...

Take a vacation and come back after 4 months... thats what Alberta says :)

Your signature says I 140 was approved, when was it approved and does that mean the USCIS website never updated the status of your I 140?
or was it showing I140 approved before and now it's showing pending?
