Will this be a problem in name check process of I-485. I have contacted my lawyer and waiting on his reponse. If he gives me a go ahead I am going to fix it first thing monday morning.

I just went through PERM and I140, both of them approved without audit/RFE, where the requirement was Masters + 10 years experience. The job role required this. The requirement should match the job role and what the company would do if they are hiring a new person for the job.
And I believe someone had asked whether you have 7 years experience after obtaining masters. That is not required. In my case I had only 4 years experience after masters, but more than 12 years total. The job requirement stated that Masters + 10 years and not Masters + 10 years after masters.

Do I need to inform him before I leave ? because he is with his relative place. What is the process for that ?
This is a domestic problem, not an immigration one. Legally, a dependent is assumed to _depend_ on you. Anyway, just give him a call/send an email/letter informing that his stay would be illegal after you leave.
If I leave without informing him, then what he can do on me ?
Legally, nothing.

I think all the 140 approved / pending at TSC and 485 applied at NSC have been transfered to TSC
the LUD for 140 was the Transfer to TSC i guess
we have to look at TSC timings now

This is not a proposal for a new law but regulations by the administration within the bounds of the current law.
My humble suggestion: Please do your homework before voicing your opinion.
guys, this kind of proposals have been raised million times in last 5 years. These guys are passing their time till next election. Nothing is going to happen till next election. So do not build any hopes. None of the proposal is going to be a law before election.

I had a chance to meet with him on a small gathering for his fund raiser.
He is a member of Judiciary commitee.
We asked him questions on how to become more active in Politics, how Congress works etc etc.
He gave a good example:
He said politicians are like a mom with many kids..one kid is labor union asking for help for their issues, other is teachers union etc etc.
And if one kid is shy and does not say anything then he is not going to get anything.
Point is very simple, Congress needs to heard like crazy from legal Immigrants about issues. So please on Mon during lunch call your congressman every day for next week. Send them faxes, emails etc.
So when they vote they know that what are issues for legal immigrants.
If you don't then you won't get anything. It is that simple.

Unless you are sitting on a pile of cash, this is really a no brainer....
Like others have suggested :
(1) Give it to me, i will invest it for you..;-)
(2) Depends upon your familial situation and resources you have, both here and in your home country.
(3) If you plan to go back to India ( i am guessing yo are Indian..)
This really is a personal choice that you have to make, with your spouse. By posting such question on open public forums, you have just opened the floodgates to getting made fun of and ridiculed...believe me, it is very tempting...

My information is 12 years old, but something you might want to check into. Back then Emirates would put you up in a downtown hotel if you wanted to break your journey. And you didn't have to get a Dubai visa if you were staying less than 24 hours.
We took a transit visa for a 10 hour break once while flying from JFK to Chennai. Emirates arranges for one, if you pay like $20 or so, all we did was to spend time at the gold shopping place (wallet got lighter offcourse) and got back to the airport in couple of hours. We would want to go again and probably take a longer break and stay over - the shopping is awsome, Dubai is scenic, especially the Jumairah palm and those areas.

apart from all above there is a risk in going to Canada or Mexico for stamping. If you dont get visa in Mexico, you need to go back to home country to get visa.
I just entered 7th year, applied for H1 extension, not sure to go to Canada or wait for trip to Home country :(
