Overpriced. These games are ancient and most of them don't offer much gameplay at all. Plus it cost atari essentially nothing to put this app out. If they made it $0.99 for the hundred pack then it'd be no-brainer, we'd buy it just for the nostalgia alone. I could conceivably see paying up to $4.99 for the hundred pack for the very small handful of games that are actually worth playing. But $14.99 for these junky games? No way.

p.s., I'm not saying all old games are bad, quite the contrary, there are a lot of fantastic old games that still hold up well, but the atari era of games were especially crappy.

There are two products:
1. The icade
2. The atari game

You do not need one for the other.

icade will be accessible by other game designers and is not limited to Atari games. Likewise, the atari games can be played without the icade.

The price for the Atari games is not too bad and the icade will allow you to play these games and more in the future using the physical joystick and buttons.

i've sort of dismissed the iphone rumors in past, but the ichat connection makes it sound like something that could well be and soon. but the wifi phone sounds like an effort to build up ichat. why not?

I've never been able to understand how a WiFi phone could be a success before WiFi networks become pervasive and virtually free. How could you use a WiFi phone in your car, for instance? And what's the point of having iChat on your phone when you can only use it in the currently few and limited WiFi-enabled areas?

Both from fleaBay at way less than the OWC prices. The 2 port will run 2x 2.5 inch drives to become the main HD for the G4 and possibly its time machine backup. The 4 port will look after my itunes, photos etc and general backup duties.

I post some pix once it looks different from stock with a load of drives whirring away :D

Just got my ram ordered as well. $26 for 4x 512mb sticks

Those Sonnet SATA cards are also made by FirmTek for Sonnet. My 2 port card is exactly the same but has a red PCB and says FirmTech rather than Sonnet. This one:

well here is the damage.

I cant get the old paste off the gpu as its baked on hard! I've managed to clean the heatsink of the remnants though.

Will applying a layer to the the GPU be enough? Will the remaining contact area of new paste be effective or is it FUBAR?

Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) and qtips can't get more of the paste off? I've read about people using a razor blade before to scrape it off, or use acetone, or even a hair dryer. You might wait for someone with actual experience removing the old stubborn stuff to post a reply, I'm just repeating what I've read elsewhere.

WeatherMenu - menu bar weather app (shareware but I think with a free trial)
Mail appetizer - mail preview
Synergy - iTunes controller (shareware but I think with a free trial)
SafariSpeed - removes lag in loading webpages

Those 4 I couldn't live without and I usually don't like installing many other apps.
